THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY

So that every expression in the world
can be free.

Every expression deserves respect.
Even when it is rough or carries anger or discomfort.

BEFORE WE SPEAK

We have experienced
many frustrations along the way.

This post was removed for violating community rules.

I spent all that time writing it. Why was it deleted?

User B

This one word is a violation? What The Fuk?

User C

So I cannot even say what I mean.

Have you ever had a moment like this?

That hesitation is not an individual problem.

Outside the screen, laws, surveillance, and blocking define what may be said. On the screen, platform rules, reports, and automated decisions determine whether a post is shown, removed, or recommended.

The Fuk began by questioning the gap between being told that anyone can speak freely and whether we are truly free to do so.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

If we stay silent and do nothing, control becomes complete.

If this is a democracy, should my speech not be free?

Governments around the world quietly suppress and control the free speech of citizens.
Laws, surveillance, and blocking decide what people may say and how far it may travel.
Even democracies are not entirely free from such control.

If we do nothing
and follow the path laid out for us,
control becomes complete.

That is why we set out to resist every form of control that suppresses freedom and build a place where anyone can speak without fear.

WHY SPEECH MATTERS

There are more places to speak,
but still not enough places to speak freely.

These examples reconstruct patterns found across the published moderation practices of several large platforms. Actual enforcement varies by service and context.

But The Fuk is different.

We do not erase a conversation
because of a single word.

The Fuk restricts illegal content and material harm. But profanity, aggressive tone, satire, and dissent are not judged by one word alone. We consider the target, intent, and full context to allow a wider range of expression.

INTERESTS BECOME CONVERSATIONS

Small interests can still
grow into big conversations.

From sports and technology to culture, society, and daily life. Find the subject you want, or start a community when it does not exist.

SPEAK YOUR WAY

Choose for yourself
how you want to speak.

A clear opinion,
even without a name.

Members can post anonymously when they need to. It is a choice for moments when the substance matters more than the name.

Keep the line clear.

01

Expression, broadly

Political views, satire, dissent, and rough language are allowed as widely as possible.

02

Safety, clearly

Sexual exploitation of minors, credible threats of violence, and doxxing are not allowed.

Rights, responsibly

Copyright infringement, spam, flooding, and automated abuse are restricted under our operating rules.

Your interests still have
so much left to say.
